Programmes
The Search and Teach
programme
A research-backed programme for
pre-schoolers. It consists of an informal
screening that identifies students at the
risk of learning difficulties. Plus, a
structured sequence of perceptual
strategies required to accelerate the
development of deficit areas that
currently prevent them from reading
or learning efficiently.
The Visualising and Verbalising Language Comprehension
programme
A programme designed to develop
concept imagery as a strategy to
improve comprehension and
higher-order thinking skills. This
programme improves language and
reading comprehension, memory,
critical thinking skills and expressive
language skills, both verbally
and in writing.
The Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) programme
A powerful series of activities
directed at cognitive deficits and
strengths. This range of activities
encourages autonomous learning,
effective thinking and executive
functioning skills. Together,
the activities unlock a student's
potential, both inside and outside
the classroom.
The ATO Math programme
A unique proprietary programme that helps students evolve from the
procedural to the conceptual understanding of math. Students acquire number
sense, pattern understanding, the ability to meaningfully decode mathematical
activities, and problem-solving skills. The programme empowers students to
perform higher-order thinking tasks and works on meta-cognition to make them
better learners.
The ATO Holiday Camps
Every year, during the summer
holidays, we run math, literacy and
thinking-skill camps for students.
The camps are conducted outdoors,
so that students are able to apply their
learning to the natural world around
them. The camps are designed to equip
students with new learning strategies
and skills, enabling them to
confidently implement them once
they return to school.

What Keeps Us Going
“When my son started at ATO, he was a quiet boy who spoke in short sentences. Today, he is chatty and able to speak in longer sentences and with more details. He understands complex instructions now and has better focus. All of these helped him transition into Primary 1 more smoothly last year.“
